Will is packing for both of us for a one-night camping trip. He comes in to show me what he has put in my backpack: a rain poncho, my headlamp, a bag of beef jerky, sunscreen and bug spray in the side pocket, where I can easily reach it. He is very systematic about it all. I am not even entirely sure where we are going.
